The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our global team as the Vice President of Information Security. In this key executive role, you will drive our organization's security vision, delivering a comprehensive program that aligns with both global objectives and regional strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, you will navigate the complex landscape of security and technology, collaborating closely with senior management and critical business stakeholders (including IT, DevOps, Compliance, Engineering, etc.). Your mission will be to manage and resolve security incidents, spearhead information security initiatives, and lead the charge in championing our organization's security strategy.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing visionary leadership and strategic oversight for a security program that supports our business goals, initiatives, and product roadmap.

• Implementing an enterprise-wide information security framework in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Fostering collaborative, security-centric relationships across the organization.

• Acting as a customer-facing authority and subject matter expert on all security-related concerns.

• Managing and executing an annual risk-based information security plan that aligns with our company’s strategies and risk profile.

• Crafting and evolving strategies to safeguard critical, sensitive information and ensuring robust detection, response, and recovery mechanisms for security incidents.

• Selecting and deploying security threat mitigation strategies and safeguards across the enterprise.

• Providing regular updates to stakeholders on the status of the security program and other significant developments.
  

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Over 15 years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity, with a proven track record of shaping and articulating long-term security strategies.

• A bachelor’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are strongly preferred.

• A deep understanding of information security principles and practices, including network, application, cloud, and endpoint security.

• Extensive experience with establishing and maintaining security frameworks like SOC2, ISO27001, and NIST.

• Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations.

• Experience in B2B SaaS solutions, preferably within an Azure environment.

• A comprehensive grasp of emerging security threats and the ability to prioritize strategic initiatives accordingly.

• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with a track record of resolving complex issues and navigating conflicting priorities.

• Significant experience leading incident response efforts and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives, and advocate for necessary security measures.

• A customer-focused, emotionally intelligent approach with the ability to build strong relationships and manage challenges effectively.

• Strategic thinking and innovation in assessing security risks, providing evaluations, and resolving conflicts.

• Experience with Artificial Intelligence or machine learning tools is a plus.
