Threat and Incident Response Specialist – UK remote - £70,000 - £100,000 + Bonus!

Locke & McCloud are looking for experienced Threat and Incident Response Specialists to join our growing client. As a Threat and Incident Response Specialist, you will play a crucial role in responding to cyber threats and incidents. You will utilize your extensive experience in incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting, threat modelling, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in incident response activities to swiftly mitigate and remediate security incidents.

  • Monitor and analyze threat intelligence sources to stay updated on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Proactively search for signs of malicious activity within client environments through threat hunting techniques.

  • Develop threat models to assess the potential risks and attack vectors specific to our clients infrastructure.

  • Manage vulnerability assessment programs to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities in client environments.

  • Maintain detailed incident records, threat intelligence reports, and threat modeling documentation.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in incident/threat response and threat intelligence.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and attack vectors.

  • Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms and tools.

  • Demonstrated experience in threat hunting methodologies and tools.

  • Proven expertise in threat modeling and vulnerability management.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
