Are you a seasoned System Engineer seeking your next big opportunity? A leading Information Technology company is looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Senior System Engineer in a hybrid role based in Chicago.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Large Scale Environments: Support and maintain extensive Linux, Windows, SAN storage, and virtualization environments including Nutanix, VMware, and KVM.
Optimize ELK Implementation: Administer and enhance the efficiency of a large-scale ELK implementation.
Architect AWS Infrastructure: Manage and maintain a global AWS footprint.
Enhance Automation and Provisioning: Improve automation through scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and centralized management tools (e.g., Chef).
Improve Platform Stability: Collaborate with internal teams to boost platform stability and site reliability.
Provide Technical Expertise: Serve as a hands-on technical advisor and resource for team members.
Troubleshoot Hardware Issues: Address and resolve enterprise-level hardware issues, including high-performance overclock systems.
Support Seamless Transitions: Assist deployment and software development teams in ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.
Participate in On-Call Rotation: Join a weekly on-call rotation for routine maintenance and deployments.

What You Bring:
