Senior Data Privacy Program Manager – London hybrid - £100,000 - £180,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Senior Data Privacy Program Manager to join our client as they continue to grow their global Data Privacy & Protection team. This role will be focused on shaping and executing our clients data privacy strategy & roadmap and will require prior experience in managing and building complex Data Privacy/Protection programs. Due to the seniority of the role, it is essential you have experience in developing strategy, data privacy programs, and advising senior-C-suite stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our clients data privacy program.
Establish and maintain a robust framework for ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant laws.
Develop, review, and update data privacy policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulations and best practices.
Communicate policies and procedures effectively across the organization and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
Identify and assess privacy-related risks associated with data processing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies and controls.
Develop and maintain an incident response plan for data breaches and privacy incidents.
Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to assess and manage privacy risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers.
Monitor ongoing compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.
Prepare and submit regular reports to executive leadership, highlighting key privacy metrics and activities.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Strong experience as a Data Privacy Program Manager or in a similar role.
Experience building Data Privacy/Protection programs from scratch.
In-depth knowledge of global data protection regulations, such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
Experience advising senior stakeholders and C-suite individuals.
Experience developing Data Privacy and Protection strategies and roadmaps.
Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
