Information Security Manager – Retail – UK remote - £60,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to join our client, a growing retail organisation, who’re looking for an experienced InfoSec professional to lead their InfoSec function. As our clients new Information Security Manager, your role will be focused around developing and implementing a new InfoSec strategy across the organisation, in addition to leading operations across InfoSec & GRC.
Main responsibilities:
Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures tailored to the new InfoSec strategy that you will be creating.
Work within our clients senior leadership team to lead InfoSec operations and ensure compliance across the organisation.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and partners regarding information security matters.
Identify gaps across the InfoSec and GRC team and build a security department, offering leadership and training across the function.
Prepare and present regular reports to our clients board team on information security initiatives, including key metrics, risks, and incident response activities.
Provide ongoing security awareness training and education programs.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Must have proven experience in Information Security, ideally in a leadership/strategic role.
Deep understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
Experience either creating and/or leading InfoSec strategy and initiatives.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.
