​Job Title: EDR Security Engineer

Location:Remote with Occasional Travel Commitment

Duration:(3-Month Contract)

Hourly Range:Competitive 50-75/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth testing and analysis of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, with a focus on CrowdStrike and SentinelOne.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of EDR systems to identify and report security vulnerabilities and performance issues.

  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically tailored to evaluate EDR solutions.

  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution of identified security and performance issues.

  • Verify that EDR solutions meet security and performance standards, including threat detection and incident response capabilities.

  • Document and track testing results, providing detailed reports on vulnerabilities and recommendations for improvements.

  • Participate in regression testing to confirm that previously identified EDR system issues have been effectively addressed.

  • Occasionally, be prepared to travel for on-site inspections or meetings related to EDR security assessments.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) security testing.

  • Proficiency in using EDR solutions, particularly CrowdStrike and SentinelOne.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on security threat detection and incident response.

  • Any relevant certifications such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne certifications are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities for conveying security assessment findings.

  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to security and quality.

  • Previous experience in the field of cybersecurity and knowledge of security best practices.

  • Ability to work remotely and independently while also being available for occasional travel.

  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
