Location:Seattle, Washington.

Compensation:$150,000 - $180,000 per year + performance-based bonuses

Role Overview:

As the firm's eDiscovery Expert, you will provide strategic guidance and hands-on expertise to enhance the firm's litigation capabilities. In this high-impact role, you will:

  • Advise Litigation Teams:

    Serve as the primary point of contact on eDiscovery matters for both internal teams and clients, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the EDRM lifecycle.

  • Develop and Deliver Training:

    Create and conduct internal workshops and training programs to elevate the firm's understanding and implementation of eDiscovery practices.

  • Consult with Clients:

    Partner directly with clients to develop tailored eDiscovery strategies that align with their unique needs and case objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of eDiscovery, including data preservation, collection, processing, review, and production.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, rules, and case law impacting eDiscovery.

  • Collaborate with litigation teams to design cost-effective and defensible eDiscovery workflows.

  • Deliver high-quality training programs that enhance the firm’s internal capabilities.

  • Act as a liaison between the firm, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless communication and execution of eDiscovery strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    Minimum of 8 years of eDiscovery experience, with a proven track record of working in law firms.

  • Legal Background:

    A JD is not required, but licensed attorneys are strongly preferred.

  • Consultancy Expertise:

    Previous experience at an eDiscovery consultancy is highly desirable.

  • Skills:

    Strong knowledge of eDiscovery tools, processes, and emerging technologies, coupled with excellent communication and client management skills.
