Role:Detection Engineer

Salary:$120K-$150K + Benefits

Location: Remote USA

We are working with a highly technical cybersecurity consultancy looking to add a skilled Detection Engineer to their Security Operations team. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing organization focused on protecting cloud environments and ensuring the highest level of security.

The Role

Implement, configure, and maintain security detection rules across on-premise and Google Cloud environments.
Develop and optimize detection mechanisms to identify and respond to emerging threats.
Work closely with Incident Response teams to investigate security events and improve defense strategies.
Ensure robust security for cloud infrastructure and safeguard company assets.
Utilize expertise in Kubernetes Incident Response to detect and mitigate threats.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in Detection Engineering and Incident Response.
Deep understanding of cloud security and threat detection techniques.
Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud and Kubernetes security.
Preferred certifications: CISSP, GCIH, or CKA.
