Aleading national utilities companyis seeking a highly skilledIdentity Governance and Administration (IGA) Specialistto join its cybersecurity team. This role is a critical part of the organization'sIAM operations, ensuring the secure and efficient management of IT and Operational Technology (OT) systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and integratingIGA solutions, onboarding applications, and driving security enhancements across complex environments.

This is ahybrid role, requiring periodic on-site presence inSacramento.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate

  IGA solutions with

  Active Directory, Azure, SAP, Salesforce, SCIM/Webservices, and cloud IAM platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Lead

  application onboarding

  and automation processes within an on-prem

  SailPoint IGA

  system.

• Design, implement, and maintain

  identity lifecycle workflows, access reviews, and role-based access controls (RBAC).

• Work with

  compliance teams

  to support

  NERC CIP, SOX, and privacy regulations.

• Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership to drive

  cloud transition strategies

  for IAM/IGA systems.

• Provide

  technical expertise and troubleshooting

  in

  Java, BeanShell, PowerShell, REST APIs, and Apache Tomcat.

• Maintain system performance through

  monitoring, tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience

  in

  IAM, IGA, and IT Security, preferably with

  SailPoint IIQ or ISC.

• Strong expertise in

  identity governance, user lifecycle management, provisioning, and certifications.

• Hands-on experience integrating

  enterprise applications

  with IGA platforms.

• Proficiency in

  Java, PowerShell, and REST API development.

• Understanding of

  compliance frameworks

  (NERC CIP, SOX, privacy laws).

• Ability to

  troubleshoot complex security issues

  and recommend best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

• Industry certifications (CISSP, SailPoint, etc.)

  are a plus
