We have partnered with an award winning IT firm that is looking for a OES Engineer to move their Novell file system to Windows file mitigation. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a company that plans on continuing their growth looking for individuals that want to grow with them.

The Role: We are seeking a skilled OES (Open Enterprise Server) Engineer with a strong background in migrating Novell file systems to Windows. In this remote role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess existing Novell file systems to develop a detailed migration plan.

• Execute file system migrations from Novell to Windows, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project goals are met.

• Provide post-migration support and documentation to ensure a seamless transition.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Novell file system administration and migration to Windows environments.

• Strong understanding of both Novell and Windows file system architecture.

• Proficiency in data migration tools and techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
