Role: NetworkNetwork Security Engineer
Location: TorontoToronto, CA (Hybrid)
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 CAD + Benefits

Our client, a leading international financial services company, is seeking a talented Network Security Engineer to join their dynamic team in Toronto. This role is perfect for a professional with a deep understanding of network security, strong Azure infrastructure experience, and proficiency in firewall management, particularly with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures.
Manage and configure firewalls, ensuring optimal security and performance.
Utilize Azure infrastructure to support and enhance network security.
Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough investigations.
Perform regular security assessments and audits.
Qualifications:
Expertise in Network Security: Demonstrated experience in securing complex networks.
Strong Azure Infrastructure Experience: Proficient in managing and securing Azure environments.
Firewall Experience: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper firewalls.
Certifications: PCNSE, CCNA, and any Azure certifications are highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
