Position:Digital Forensics and Incident Response Analyst

Location:United States (Remote US)

Salary:$90,000 - $115,000 + comprehensive benefits

Are you a skilled Digital Forensic and Incident Response (DFIR) professional looking to elevate your career? We are representing an award-winning cyber consultancy in the US, seeking an experienced DFIR Analyst to join their elite team. About the Role:

As a DFIR Analyst, you will play a critical role in investigating and responding to high-stakes cyber incidents. Your expertise will be pivotal in protecting businesses from malicious cyber activities. This role demands proficiency in handling ransomware attacks, business email compromises (BEC), malware analysis, and cloud forensics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth digital forensic investigations to identify the root cause and impact of cyber incidents.

  • Respond to ransomware attacks, ensuring swift and effective mitigation.

  • Investigate business email compromises (BEC) to understand attack vectors and prevent recurrence.

  • Perform malware analysis to identify, isolate, and neutralize threats.

  • Utilize cloud forensic techniques to investigate incidents in cloud environments.

  • Collaborate with clients to develop robust incident response strategies.

  • Provide detailed reports and recommendations to improve clients' security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in DFIR, particularly with ransomware, BEC, malware analysis, and cloud forensics.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically under pressure.

  • Proficiency with forensic tools and methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GCFA, GCIH, EnCE) are a plus.
