Technical Manager- Digital Forensics | Hybrid Manchester/ Leicester | £55,000-£65,000
Are you a Digital Forensic professional with not only experience in analysing and examining computer systems and mobile devices, but also being part of implementing technologies and growing technical capabilities?
We have an exciting opportunity for Digital Forensics Technical Manager to join our client's team, they are the leading specialist in Digital Forensics and IR capabilities, who have been around for a number of years providing top services to multiple clients within the corporate, legal and law sectors.
This client have a state of the art Lab in Manchester and Leicester, join this team and help to build the capability within it, You will manage other forensic professionals and help them to undertake work in the lab and grow their skillset.
You will also be involved in conducting investigations, examinations and analysis of different devices. This role will give you the opportunity to work for some top clients and lead these projects, as well as helping to win new business and bring projects on board.
Role includes:
Conducting analysis in either a lab or on client sites
Secure and retrieve data from Computers, Mobiles and other devices
Reporting findings to a high standard so they can be used in court and within the police
Lead discussions with stakeholders and members of the police to keep them update on cases being worked on
Manage and train junior and mid-level Investigators on more complex cases and investigations
Lead initial client engagements and help to bring projects on board
Implement and utilise multiple DF tools, having a say in what one are brought into the lab
Experience:
7+ years experience working in Digital Forensics
SC cleared or eligible, and NPPV3 cleared or eligible
Experience in working on mobile device forensics and computer system forensics
Experience with tools such as EnCase, FTK and Cellebrite
Have good knowledge and understanding computer crime and electronic evidence including an understanding of ISO 17025 and the FSR codes.
Experience in managing teams and training other Digital Forensic professionals
Experience implementing and advising on digital forensic tools
