Cyber Security Consultant – UK Remote - £45,000-£65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join our client's team. In this role, you will partner with clients to deliver expert advice on IT systems, networks, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and assurance services. You will collaborate with both defensive and offensive teams to ensure the successful execution of cyber security solutions, following industry best practices.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and deliver cyber risk services to clients, collaborating with teams to ensure effective solutions.
Act as a liaison between sales and delivery teams to ensure client needs are met through clear communication and engagement.
Continuously develop your knowledge of the cyber threat landscape to keep clients informed of emerging threats.
Provide cybersecurity advice to key stakeholders, building strong relationships with clients.
Conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry standards including Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST-CSF.
Assist risk management teams in project delivery, supporting with schedules and workloads.
While most engagements are remote, you may need to attend client sites for tailored delivery, including potential national and international travel.
Lead virtual and in-person cybersecurity awareness training for clients’ employees.
Write clear and concise reports reflecting clients' security posture and present findings effectively.
Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
Assist in developing a strategic delivery framework and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the team.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
Strong understanding of Cybersecurity and IT networking, with a willingness to learn and develop further.
Knowledge of security frameworks and certifications such as ISO 27001, NIST-CSF, and GDPR.
Proven experience in building and maintaining B2B client relationships.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage at the C-level.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to client needs.
Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage workload.
Full UK Driver’s License and the right to work in the UK.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
