About the Company:

We are representing a leading SaaS solution provider specializing in the colocation industry. Our client is dedicated to helping enterprise clients optimize their infrastructure through innovative, bespoke solutions. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Customer Success to join their team.


Role Overview:

As the Director of Customer Success, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the client experience, driving renewals, and leading upsell initiatives. This role requires a confident leader who can navigate challenging conversations with customers, guiding them towards the most effective and customized solutions. You will need to balance client requests with the reality of product capabilities, ensuring the best outcomes for both the customer and the company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Building and maintaining strong relationships with enterprise clients, and experience in handling million-pound contracts is key.

  • Tough Conversations:

    Confidently engage in challenging discussions with clients to push for the best optimizations and product usage.

  • Customization & Optimization:

    Understand that one size does not fit all—analyze client needs and suggest tailored solutions that go beyond the standard playbook.

  • Renewals & Upsell:

    Drive contract renewals and identify upsell opportunities, leveraging your deep understanding of customer needs and the SaaS product.

  • Continuous Learning:

    Stay eager to learn, diving into the intricacies of each customer’s environment and how the product can best serve their needs.

  • Playbook Flexibility:

    While a successful playbook exists, you should be open to learning and adapting to new strategies that best serve each unique client.

  • Industry Expertise:

    Utilize your experience in selling bespoke products and your knowledge of enterprise client dynamics to deliver exceptional results.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    Proven success in a customer-facing role, ideally in the SaaS or colocation industry, with experience handling large contracts and enterprise clients.

  • Skills:

    Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage and resolve complex client issues.

  • Mindset:

    A proactive, problem-solving approach with a hunger to learn and adapt.

  • Preferred:

    Experience with Salesforce and a background in selling customized solutions are advantageous but not required.
