Senior Digital Forensic Investigator | Leicester | £45,000-£55,000
Are you a Digital Forensic professional with a passion for analysing and examining computer systems and mobile devices, whilst helping to have criminals convicted with the investigations you have conducted?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Forensic Investigator to join our client's team, they are the leading specialist in Digital Forensics and IR capabilities, who have been around for a number of years providing top services to multiple clients within the corporate, legal and law sectors.
This client are opening a state of the art lab in Leicester, be one of the first members to join this team, working closely with other likeminded and skilled professionals that will ultimately help you to learn and grow your skillset.
As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in conducting investigations, examinations and analysis of different devices. This role will give you the opportunity to work for some top clients and expand your skills in Digital forensics investigations. You would be part of a team that in the future could see you becoming skilled within Incident Response or becoming a future leader of the business.
Role includes:
Conducting analysis in either a lab or on client sites
Secure and retrieve data from Computers, Mobiles and other devices
Reporting findings to a high standard so they can be used in court and within the police
Lead discussions with stakeholders and members of the police to keep them update on cases being worked on
Support junior Investigators on more complex cases and investigations
Experience:
5 years experience working in Digital Forensics
SC cleared or eligible, and NPPV3 cleared or eligible
Experience in working on mobile device forensics and computer system forensics
Experience with tools such as EnCase, FTK and Cellebrite
Have good knowledge and understanding computer crime and electronic evidence including an understanding of ISO 17025 and the FSR codes.
Experience supporting or mentoring other colleagues with work
